Another Scanian flag. It's a variation of one of my other flags, this contains some details on the sun, this obviously also comes from a common element in Scanian tapestries.

Well I would most likely not use it for anything if being limited to works that were for Scania only, though honestly I haven't found anything to use it for so I guess you are safe on that front sir.

Yeah, it's not really usable for anything. I guess you could use it for Koptic stuff too since the symbol seems to have Koptic origins.

Well, my theory is that it is of Koptic or Egyptian origin since similar symbols appear on lots of tapestries from there. These have come into Scania from the Silk road and this symbol was created. I have found one version where those four squares are connected horizontally too so it's symmetric from both sides.

Isn't it cool how some Western nations mix symbols and concepts between Europe and Egypt/Asia. Making countries more diverse and cosmopolitan.
